Michael Jackson’s illuminated white glove fetches $70,000
Ever since his death, a number of auction houses have profited by selling memorabilia of the late King of Pop. A Hollywood auction too recently benefitted by selling Michael Jackson memorabilia. The auction sold the illuminated white glove worn by Michael Jackson on his 1984 Victory Tour. The glove from the late music icon’s “suit of lights” described as "the ultimate piece of Michael Jackson memorabilia", fetched £44,300 (almost $70,000). The white glove was covered in shining beads and crystal rhinestones. The white mitt was fitted with 50 tiny lights, powered by a nine volt battery in the cuff. The glove has always been the signature fashion accessory sported by the late super star.
